RSM UK announces new partner in Bristol
Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has announced the promotion of Flora Barnes to partner to help shape the future of the firm and drive growth from within its own ranks.
Based in Bristol, Flora is in the corporate tax team and leads the firm’s tax risk and governance practice, which includes supporting clients with the senior accounting officer regime, UK tax strategy, Business Risk Review+, Tax Control Framework, and Corporate Criminal Offence.
Flora has extensive experience advising international groups and large corporates on UK corporation tax, as well as businesses with a corporate US element.
She also leads the firm’s Tax InSight software which uses RSM’s existing governance risk and controls system to facilitate a custom tax dashboard for the firm’s clients.
“Becoming a partner at RSM is a huge achievement, and I’m thrilled to be part of the partnership as the firm continues to go from strength to strength,” said Flora.
“It’s also a particularly exciting time for our tax risk and governance practice, as we look to grow the team and build out our offerings as businesses become increasingly in need of support in this area.
“I look forward to playing a part in shaping the future of the firm and to continue supporting our clients in navigating opportunities in the ever-changing business environment.”
Joanne Webber, office managing partner in Bristol, added: “I’m thrilled to see Flora embark on the next chapter in her career at RSM.
“Flora’s promotion is a reflection of her hard work, talent and dedication, as well as RSM’s commitment to investing in and developing its people. Flora will have an integral role in ensuring we continue to deliver a premium service to clients in the South, nationally and internationally.”
