Personal injury law firm welcomes new solicitor and launches new service

Specialist personal injury law firm Novum Law has appointed a solicitor to head its new wills, trusts and estate planning team based in Salisbury’s Woodford Valley.

Karen Perugini, who has nearly 20 years’ experience advising people in the Salisbury area, on their personal and legal affairs, joins from Sampson Coward Solicitors, where she was head of wills and probate – a new area of interest for the Salisbury-based firm.

As a senior associate, Karen’s role will be to advise Novum Law’s existing clients, many of whom have suffered serious life-changing injuries and have received large amounts of compensation or are in the process of seeking a settlement, to support their ongoing medical and rehabilitation needs and to meet their future requirements.

She will also focus on continuing to provide quality private client legal advice to the wider community.

Karen said: “I am thrilled to be joining Novum Law at an exciting time for the business as it expands its offering to include Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning services.

“This new opportunity allows me to continue to deliver high quality legal advice to the Salisbury community in which I have practised for many years.

“I’ve been privileged to develop good working relationships with other local professionals that can assist me in delivering first rate advice on all aspects of organising and planning clients’ personal and financial legal affairs.

“I’m really looking forward to this new challenge developing a strong, local Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning team that will be accessible to all and will allow me to build on my expertise and contacts in the area.”

Director and head of Novum Law’s Salisbury office Neil Elliott said: “We are delighted to welcome Karen whose financial and legal expertise will be a huge asset to the firm as we extend our services to new and existing clients.

“I’m confident she will play a significant role as we continue to expand in Salisbury and throughout the South of England.”
