Law firm appoints new head of employment

Law firm Goughs has appointed change management expert Rebecca Dennis as its new head of employment.

Rebecca, who will be based at the firm’s Greenways Business Park office in Chippenham, works across a range of employment matters including business reorganisation and redundancy, TUPE and change management, and negotiation and settlement.

Rebecca has specialised in employment law for many years and provides consistent and risk-aware advice to employers and employees alike, with her experience including both contentious and non-contentious work.

Her professional background is unusual because she worked for more than 20 years as a barrister providing legal advice, drafting and advocacy for her clients and more recently provided specialist troubleshooting services on employment law and employee relations at a leading international HR outsourcing company.

“My approach to employment law is one of total respect and patience from a platform of expert knowledge of the subject and business needs,” said Rebecca.

“I believe that risk-free management of employee relations can be achieved with time and effort and understanding.”
