Law firm keeps Air Ambulance appeal flying high

Staff at Goughs Solicitors have raised £9,500 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

The law firm which has offices in Calne, Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Melksham and Trowbridge considered a number of extremely worthwhile local charities before it selected Wiltshire Air Ambulance as its Charity Partner of the Year for 2014.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance provides a vital helicopter emergency medical service throughout the county, saving the lives of people living, working and travelling in Wiltshire. It currently costs £2.5m a year to keep the air ambulance operational.

Over the course of the year, Goughs held and participated in a number of events in support of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, including the Goughs Golf Day, which was attended by over 100 guests from the Wiltshire business community, and raised in excess of £6,500 for the charity.

The law firm also participated in the Chippenham Dragon Boat Race and the Corsham 10k, where Goughs runners raised over £2,000 alone. Goughs also ran a Car Boot Sale Challenge and a World Cup Competition to raise further funds.
