Filestream promotes long-time employee Paul Day to managing director
Document management specialist Filestream has promoted veteran employee Paul Day to managing director.
Paul, who celebrates 30 years with the Berkshire-based company next year, took on his new role on June 1.
Filestream has undergone a significant transformation since Paul first joined.
He began his journey in 1995 as a delivery driver for office equipment at Lectus, founded by Charles Hooker.
Over the years, Paul steadily climbed the ranks, gaining invaluable experience in diverse roles such as fax machine repairs, senior engineer on major contracts, and service manager.
In 2003, after the directors started Filestream and focused on document management, Paul moved to the new company.
His talent and leadership were recognised in 2014 when he was promoted to technical director.
Charles Hooker will now become chairman and fellow director Jolyon Wilkinson becomes chief financial officer.
Excited about this new chapter, Paul is looking forward to leveraging the strengths of the existing team.
“I’m excited about the changes that this new chapter brings for the company and what that means for us going forward,” said Paul.
“Software keeps pace with the times, and so will Filestream. By incorporating innovative solutions, we can continuously modernise how we serve our clients.”
