Agricultural machinery dealer acquires Midlands rival

Devizes-based T H White Group has acquired Midlands-based agricultural supplies business Murley Agricultural.

The Warwick branch of Murley’s agricultural operations will now trade as T H White Agriculture and the garden machinery side of the business will continue under the T H White Country Store and Garden Machinery brand.

The deal means that T H White’s trading territory for New Holland, Manitou and other leading agricultural brands has now been expanded into Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

This year New Holland named T H White its Hay & Forage Dealer of the Year for the third year running. The company was also runner up in the Combine Dealer of the Year and Large Dealer of the Year categories at New Holland’s annual dealer awards.

The group now has 10 agricultural outlets in the West and Midlands, including Devizes and Marlborough.
