Seminar explores how to value and sell your business

A free seminar in Swindon next month will explain how to calculate how much your business is worth prior to selling it.

The seminar will be lead by Neil Elsden, director at chartered accountants Banks BHG and Sue Green, a manager at corporate finance advisors Watersheds, who are highly experienced in buying and selling businesses for private and corporate clients.

The seminar will examine:

  • The options for those contemplating a sale
  • Identifying the right time to sell
  • The importance of careful planning and preparation
  • The most common errors made when selling a business – and how to avoid them
  • How to reinvest the proceeds from the sale of your business

“If you are thinking about selling your business, either now or in the future, please join us at our complimentary seminar where we will supply you with information and ideas about how to approach this to get the best possible outcome,” said Neil.

“When the time comes to sell, it is critical to get the right result. Even if you’re establishing a new business but have visions of someday selling it, there are several things to consider.”

The seminar will be held at Banks BHG’s offices in Ermin Street, Swindon on Wednesday, September 21 from 5.45pm until 7.30pm.
