Burges Salmon’s head of private wealth recognised as a top private client practitioner
The head of private wealth at Bristol law firm Burges Salmon has been named in the 2024 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list.
The guide highlights the top private client practitioners in the UK and globally. Nominated individuals were selected following a comprehensive research process by leading industry publication PAM Insight, with judges considering the achievements, market reputation, talent and breadth of skills shown by professionals across the private wealth industry. Rankings were also based on direct recommendations from eprivateclient readers.
Appointed as head of private wealth last year, Suzanna Harvey works with a broad range of UK and overseas clients including high net worth individuals and their families, entrepreneurs, private banks, financial institutions and trust companies.
A senior lead in the firm’s personal immigration team, Suzanna also advises clients considering moving to the UK on their immigration options as well as advising both UK and non-UK resident clients on a wide range of tax matters including income, capital gains and inheritance tax.
“It’s very pleasing to be recognised by eprivateclient and I want to share this with the whole team,” said Suzanna. “We’ve really cultivated an environment of genuine collaboration where we all work together to benefit from our different specialisms; it’s fantastic to work with such a talented and supportive team.”
This is the latest in a series of recognitions for Burges Salmon’s Private Wealth team with the firm winning the coveted Private Client Law Firm (Full Service) award at the 2023 eprivateclient Excellence Awards and retaining its Tier 1 ranking in the 2023 eprivateclient Top Law Firms guide.
