Collaborators complete official merger

Multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm Moore Kingston Smith has merged with long-term collaborator Moore South.

The deal unites two long‑established practices within the Moore UK network and combines the strengths of both firms while ensuring complete continuity for clients.

Moore South, a 13‑partner firm of accountants and business advisers, with five offices across the South of England, boasts a team of 92 people across offices in Salisbury , Chichester, Guildford, the Isle of Wight, and Southampton.

The firm has a long‑established reputation for supporting owner‑managed businesses, acting as a trusted adviser to individuals and entrepreneurs throughout each stage of their business lifecycle.

While also serving larger and international organisations, Moore South’s core focus has consistently been on providing OMBs with practical, partner‑led accountancy and tax advice.

Following the merger, the Moore South team will join Moore Kingston Smith’s group of over 120 partners and 1,600 people across the UK and Ireland.

Matt Meadows, managing partner of Moore Kingston Smith, said: “Moore South’s long‑standing relationships with start-ups, family‑run firms and regional OMBs represent a strong strategic fit with our approach. Together, we can double down on our collaboration, and the international strength of the Moore Global network, in a more formal and joined-up way.”

Danielle Griffin, managing partner of Moore South, added: “We’ve been collaborative partners with Moore Kingston Smith for many years, which speaks to our shared priority of understanding our clients’ needs.

“By merging, we can further support our clients in achieving their goals, providing them with streamlined and integrated access to Moore Kingston Smith’s range of specialist services, while maintaining the close, longstanding relationships we have with local businesses.”
