Justice secretary to address Swindon business leaders

Lord Chancellor, Secretary of State for Justice, and South Swindon MP Robert Buckland will be fielding questions from business leaders at a SwindonChamber of Commerce event early next month.  

The Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC will be addressing the Swindon Political Working Business Breakfast at Doubletree Hilton, Lydiard Fields, Swindon on Friday, September 6 from 7.30am to 9.30am.

Robert was elected MP for South Swindon in 2010 and quickly established himself, serving on a number of select committees in the same year. In 2014 the Prime minister appointed him HM Solicitor General for England & Wales. He was promoted to Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice this summer by Boris Johnson.

The meeting will be an opportunity to hear about the current political thinking for local and national issues and how they will affect the local business community. A Q&A will follow the presentation.
