Swindon Chamber of Commerce unveils action-packed calendar for early 2024

Swindon Chamber of Commerce has published an action-packed calendar of events for the first quarter of 2024.

Last year Swindon Chamber – the town’s only British Chamber of Commerce-affiliated organisation – welcomed 800 businesses to various events.

Kicking off proceedings is Start Your Year, a dynamic panel discussion chaired by Lucy Paine from Tech Spark. Panellists – including Business Biscuit editor Peter Davison – will share invaluable perspectives on navigating the business landscape. The event takes place on Wednesday, January 31 from 9.30am at Cricklade House Hotel, Cricklade.

On Thursday, February 15 the Swindon Property Perspective will give delegates the opportunity to explore the latest news and views in commercial and residential property, as well as valuable perspectives from accountancy and finance professionals. The event will be held at the Swindon offices of Awdry Law from 8.30am.

The Swindon Members Meet Up takes place at the Leonardo Hotel, Swindon on Thursday, February 22 from 9am. The networking event will give business leaders the chance to catch up with current chamber members and meet new ones in an “informal yet informative occasion.”

On Friday, March 8 from 9am chamber members will be invited to discuss the Budget 2024 which is scheduled for two days prior. Experts from accountancy firm Monahan’s – at whose Swindon offices the event will be held – will provide a comprehensive analysis of the budget’s impact on businesses, offering “strategic insights to navigate the financial terrain.”

And on Thursday, March 28 the popular Swindon Business Expo will return to the Doubletree Hilton Swindon at Lydiard Fields from 10am until 2pm with an exhibition space with local businesses showcasing their services and promoting their products, and the chance to network with 250 delegates.
