Law firm raises £11k for Air Ambulance
The Swindon and Marlborough offices of law firm Withy King have raised £11,246.19 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Withy King’s partners and staff took part in a wide range of fund-raising activities, including a cycle ride from Devizes to Oxford, an office bake-off and a sale of Christmas hampers, to raise money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Withy King partner and chair of the firm’s charities’ committee, Chris Kane, said: “We are committed to making a positive impact on the communities we work in.
“The staff in our Swindon and Marlborough offices nominated Wiltshire Air Ambulance as their ‘Charity of the Year’ and we are delighted with what they have managed to achieve.”
Caroline Corrigan, head of fundraising for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, added: “We are extremely grateful to Withy King for their efforts in raising this fantastic amount for us and to hear that the firm will continue to support us over the next two years.
“The way in which we are funded is changing and the charity is going to be under even greater pressure in the future. We are more reliant than ever on partnerships with firms like Withy King to keep this vital service going.”
