IT provider named as one of 100 Best Small Companies to Work For

Communications and IT solutions provider Excalibur has been named one of the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For by the Sunday Times.

It ranked 56th on the list this year, having appeared in the same list in 2017 and 2018.

The Swindon-based company has also been awarded a Three Star Accreditation, from Best Companies, which recognises its ‘extraordinary’ levels of employee engagement.

The company saw significant improvements in its score for Wellbeing, rising by 11 percent from 2019 and up seven percent in terms of employees feeling they receive a Fair Deal in terms of salary and benefits.

CEO Peter Boucher said: “It’s great to be in the top 100 Best UK Small Companies to Work For. We want to be a great place to work and relentlessly look at ways to engage our team on a professional and personal level.

“With an emphasis on health and wellbeing and good management support, cross-team relationships have improved enormously. The confidence of individuals has grown, with people more willing to take responsibility for decision making and having the confidence to try out new things for us and our customers.

“This award recognises the improvements we’ve made and how much employees value them.”
