Enterprise Nation founder will speak at Chamber breakfast ahead of Expo

The founder of small business support network Enterprise Nation will address a networking breakfast in Swindon next month ahead of the South West Business Expo.

Emma Jones MBE will be the keynote speaker at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce-hosted breakfast at STEAM.

Author of best-selling business books including Spare Room Startup, Working 5 to 9, and the StartUp Kit, Emma was one of the co-founders of national enterprise campaign StartUp Britain.

She has held several advisory roles in Government including, Business Ambassador, Trade Ambassador, SME Crown Representative and leader of one of the Five Business Councils introduced last year by the Prime Minister.

She commented: “I’m delighted to be addressing the local business community and supporting all the great work the Thames Valley Chamber does. Enterprise Nation is now leading the charge to deliver inspiration, support and advice to the 5.2 million small businesses we now have in the UK.

“Evidence points to the fact that small firms that take on board advice do better than those that don’t. For a lot of small businesses, the issue is identifying good advice, and building relationships.

“That’s why working with people on the ground delivering support every day, like local Chambers and growth hubs are so important for us and our members.”
