University of Reading named #1 for studying business
The University of Reading has been named #1 for business in a new university guide.
Reading was named as the best university in the UK to study business in the Daily Mail University Guide.
It was also ranked first for architecture, building and planning.
The guide combines measures of good job prospects, teaching excellence, student support and student experience in those subject areas to create its ranking.
Reading was ranked as the top university to study business out of 84 UK universities that offer it as a subject, and the best for architecture, building and planning from 43 institutions.
Overall, the University of Reading was ranked 42nd from 119 universities in the UK.
Professor Parveen Yaqoob, deputy vice-chancellor of the University of Reading, said: “Studying at Reading gives our students and graduates the skills and experiences to thrive.
“We take our long-term commitments seriously, putting environmental sustainability at the heart of our mission.
“Whether you study business, arts, science or social science, we put your future, and all our futures, first.”
