Danny Alexander and Sir Jon Cunliffe to speak at Wessex Chambers events
MP Danny Alexander, the number two at the Treasury, is to be the guest speaker at a Wessex Chambers networking lunch in April.
The Liberal Democrat MP holds the position of chief secretary to the Treasury – the second most senior ministerial position in HM Treasury, after the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
He will be talking to 150 business leaders at the Trowbridge Rugby Club lunch on Friday, April 25 from 12.15pm to 2pm. Attendance costs £25 for members and £50 for non-members.
He is the first of two big-name signings for Wessex Chambers, who have also confirmed that Sir Jon Cunliffe, the deputy governor of the Bank of England, will be speaking at the regular Cumberwell Park Golf Club networking event on the morning of Thursday, October 30.
