Swindon festival to paint the town red again this summer
Artists from Swindon and around the world will be painting the town red this summer, for the third annual Swindon Paint Fest.
The festival received applications from nearly 300 artists this summer – firmly cementing Swindon Paint Fest on the street art festival calendar of events.
Building on Swindon’s existing mural art trail, a number of free and inclusive activities and events are planned over the weekend of Saturday, August 31 to Sunday, September 1inviting everyone to be inspired and to enjoy the freedom of expressing creativity in their own unique way.

A spokesperson for the Arts Council-backed event said: “We are so excited to once again have the opportunity to bring people together and spark creativity within our town. We can’t thank the Arts Council and our sponsors enough for making this happen.
“Last year, we had so much positive feedback from visiting artists on how welcome they were made to feel in Swindon, which was incredible.
