M&S unveils brand new Bath flagship store

Department store M&S has opened its new £17 million flagship store in Bath.

The 83,000 sq ft store at Southgate Bath offers M&S Food, beauty, homewares and fashion across four floors.

On the ground floor, customers will find a 14,000 sq ft fresh market-style foodhall, and a new bakery & coffee counter.

Three floors of fashion deliver brand-new collections including Autograph womenswear and heritage brand Jaeger in menswear.

A brand-new 1,600 sq ft beauty hall also brings new third-party brands to customers in Bath.

On the top floor of the store, customers will find a curated homeware collection, including the popular M&S x Kelly Hoppen homeware edit.

Bath SouthGate is one of more than 20 new or renewed stores M&S is launching across the UK in the second half of this financial year.

Natalie Jordan, store manager at Bath SouthGate has worked at M&S for over a decade and leads the team of 280 colleagues.

“We have a fantastic history in Bath, dating back to 1895 and it is brilliant to be investing in a brand-new flagship store in the city centre,” she said.

“Our focus is now delivering the trusted value and exceptional quality we’re known for – alongside a touch of that M&S magic.”

Opening hours for the new store are 8am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, and between 11am and 5pm on Sundays.
