Major development plot at Thames Valley Park acquired

Jansons Property has acquired a 4.5-acre site at Thames Valley Park in Reading, strengthening its portfolio of strategically located employment land across London and the South East.

The purchase forms part of the company’s long-term investment strategy of identifying well-located employment sites across the Thames Valley, where strong economic fundamentals, established occupier markets, and excellent transport connectivity continue to underpin long-term investment opportunities.

Thames Valley Park is one of the region’s premier business parks and is home to global occupiers including Microsoft, Oracle and Sanofi. T

he park benefits from excellent connectivity to Junction 10 of the M4 via the A329(M), placing it at the heart of one of the UK’s most established commercial locations.

The site is currently an undeveloped plot in a prime position on the park. Jansons will consider a number of options before bringing forward a proposal that complements the surrounding business environment. With early occupier interest already shown, the team is looking forward to progressing plans.

Andy Jansons, managing director of Jansons Property, explained: “This acquisition extends our track record of purchasing employment land in established business locations.

“We have been active along the M4 corridor for 23 years, so to secure another site in the area, and on one of the pre-eminent business parks in the Thames Valley, is hugely positive.

“We continue to actively pursue allocated employment sites, existing industrial sites and business parks with medium-term development potential.”

Logix and Forsters acted for Jansons on the acquisition.
