Hewlett Packard Enterprise relocates high-tech teams to new Bristol hub
Two hundred Hewlett Packard employees working in high-tech fields including AI, supercomputing and cybersecurity have moved into new premises at Stoke Gifford.
The new hub at Lake View will accommodate teams that had been previously dispersed around the city.
The company, which has had a presence in Bristol for more than 40 years, said it wanted to bring the teams together to facilitate closer collaboration; driving advancements and improvements in their technological offerings.
The relocation also integrates the HPE Cray supercomputing team – formed when HP acquired Cray in 2019 – renowned for contributing to major projects like the Frontier supercomputer and the Isambard-AI system at the University of Bristol.
The state-of-the-art facility includes labs, collaborative spaces, fitness areas, and bespoke art by local graffiti artists.
