BLOCK to open co-working space and offices at Bristol’s Fairfax Building

South West office and co-working provider Block has acquired its newest site in Bristol city centre.

The company will turn four floors and 20,000 sq ft at Oval Real Estate’s Fairfax Building, near Castle Park, into the city’s newest office and co-working space.

BLOCK’s managing director Ben Cheriton said: “We are dedicated to providing market-leading co-working and office spaces that cater to the evolving needs of modern professionals.

“BLOCK is consistently striving to push the boundaries of innovation and ambition – always moving forward, so to complete this deal represents a great step in the next chapter of our story.

Oval Real Estate’s founder Nick Prior said: “We have signed a long lease with BLOCK as we believe that they will deliver best-in-class space in what is now a best-in-class building.

“Collectively we aim to provide an offering otherwise not seen in the Bristol market.”

Block will be working with Bath-based fit-out contractor Interaction over the next three months before welcoming the first tenants in October.
