Engineering firm and housing association take new premises at Bowerhill Industrial Estate
Two businesses are moving into new premises at Melksham’s Bowerhill Industrial Estate, after contracts were signed with commercial property agent Kavanaghs.
Plastic Engineering Solutions, which already occupies a unit on the Bowerhill Estate and was looking for additional space for larger machinery, signed the lease on a a brand new industrial unit of 1,348 sq ft on Hercules Way before the ink was even dry on the property particulars, said Kavanaghs.

Chris George, asset director at Selwood Housing Group, said: “Having outgrown our previous location, we’re very pleased to have found a new home in Melksham for Silcoa, our repairs and improvements social enterprise.
“These new premises will enable us to continue our work to improve the homes and communities of our customers.”
Jo Sutton, Kavanaghs’ commercial team negotiator, said: “Both of these units came to the market at just the right time for these tenants, and deals were tied up and completed swiftly.
“We are finding that there is a severe shortage of industrial properties as a result of demand outstripping the supply.”
