Growing toy firm expands to industrial estate

Growing toy firm Tinytown Playhomes has expanded into new premises in Melksham, in a deal brokered by commercial property agents Kavanaghs.

Tinytown Playhomes, which makes luxury bespoke playhouses, has moved into a 1,345 sq ft unit at Bowerhill Industrial Estate.

The property was let at the asking rent of £10,000 pax on a new three-year lease.

“14 Lysander Road is a valued part of our management portfolio and is a prominently situated open plan industrial unit,” said Stephen Brickell, commercial property manager at Kavanaghs.

“Given the shortage of quality industrial stock in the market at the moment we were inundated with enquiries and viewings from a variety of different occupiers.

“The industrial market remains buoyant and there is a shortage of quality stock, so we’re very keen to hear from landlords with an empty building or companies hoping to relocate.”
