Business motivator and visibility coach Taz Thornton to deliver keynote a Great British Expos
Award-winning business coach Taz Thornton has been invited to be a keynote speaker at this year’s The Great British Expos in Swindon, Bristol, and Reading.
For the last decade, over 55,000 UK small and medium businesses have attended the seven regional events to network, conduct business and interact with suppliers and support services.
“I was excited to be approached to be a keynote speaker at this year’s Great British Expos. I’m passionate about businesses recognising the Taz Thorntonpower of their personal brand. That’s why I don’t pre-script my speeches,” said Taz.
“While I know my topics, what I talk about will depend on the audience in the room and be specifically tailored towards them. What underpins my message is the importance of authenticity in our business leaders.”
The former market and publishing executive goes on to explain why embracing the personal is critical to business success in the modern world: “Until we tell our personal story in an authentic way our businesses don’t work as well as they should do.
“Everyone has a story and when you share it customers and clients connect with who you are. I ask entrepreneurs and company owners: what are your quotes, what is your wisdom?
“If you’re on social media share ‘your’ philosophy, not anyone else’s.”
The author of two books including the bestselling business guide, ‘Unleash Your Awesome’ says: “People buy from people, it’s important for businesses to understand that. We buy into Virgin because of Richard Branson and that’s because we know his story. I champion business owners sharing who they are to promote their brand.”
