Chamber focusses on doing business across borders and cultures
There’s an international flavour to July’s networking breakfast from Swindon Chamber of Commerce, as HR specialist Laxmi Chaudhry talks on operating effective global business across cultures.
Laxmi has over 30 years’ international experience in strategic and operational human resources and many years as a cross-cultural specialist and trainer.
She has lived in UK, Singapore, and Tanzania and worked across Europe and Asia, including India, and speaks speaks Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Gujarati.
Her presentation will focus on international communications, developing cross cultural relationships, enhancing global team performance, virtual working across cultures, international negotiations, and managing conflict.
The Swindon Business Breakfast from Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce will be held on Friday, July 10 from 7.30am at Swindon Marriott Hotel. Attendance costs £21.60 for members and £33.60 for non-members.
