Airport director to address high-flyers
The importance of Heathrow Airport to economy of Swindon and the M4 corridor will be discussed at a business leaders’ dinner in the town later this month.
Nigel Milton, director of policy and public relations for Heathrow Airport Ltd, will address Swindon Chamber of Commerce Corporate Insight Dinner.
Mr Milton will explain how Heathrow is key to the success of Swindon and the M4 corridor in order for the region to thrive and grow.
Aviation connectivity is vital to UK plc and inward investment, he will argue.
He will also talk about the new Terminal 2 building, due to open in 2014 as part of BAA’s plan to maximise the efficiency of the airport by reducing transfer times and improving the passenger experience.
The new terminal will have capacity for 30 million passengers each year.
The dinner will be held at the Stanton House Hotel on Tuesday, November 26 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Attendance costs £48 for members and £60 for non-members.
