PR event that generated more than £1 million in media value to return
A PR event that generated more than £1 million in media value is to return towards the end of this year.
Swindon-based PR agency Scott Media has announced the return of the No BS Media Summit, which connects business owners directly with national and international journalists to secure high-tier media coverage.
The announcement follows the highly successful 2025 summit, where five national journalists engaged with a small cohort of attendees.
The resulting media coverage for participants was estimated to be worth over £1 million.
Beyond print and digital features, attendees secured paid speaking engagements and established direct, long-term relationships with journalists.
This year’s event will run on November 10 and 11, at Swindon’s Doubletree Hilton, and will feature five journalists, including specialist business writer John Boitnott (pictured, with Fiona) who is flying in from the United States, marking the summit’s international expansion.
John said: “I’ve interviewed hundreds of founders and operators, and the best coverage starts with access and preparation. That’s what makes the No BS Media Summit different. I’m excited to fly in from the US to connect with UK business owners and help them turn their expertise into media-ready stories.”
The two-day event includes a chance to pitch story ideas, learn more about the power of PR and understand the PR benefits of public speaking.
Alongside, will be an opportunity to create professional assets including photography for media kits and branding. Throughout the event, delegates will receive expert guidance from host and Managing Director of Scott Media, Fiona Scott, with support from her team.
“Getting in front of national and international journalists who are ready and willing to listen to your stories, your expertise, and your business is absolute gold dust,” said Fiona.
“At this summit, we are making it happen again. The format proved a huge success last year, and we are confident of repeating this in November.
“We are also delighted that we are going international, by inviting John Boitnott, from San Francisco. We met in Las Vegas in 2023, at an Oracle conference, and we have since become great friends. He will make a fantastic contribution to the summit.”
Places are limited to 35 delegates, with half already reserved. For more information and tickets, visit https://scottmedia.uk/product/the-no-bs-media-summit-2026/
