Apprentice star to make rare speaking appearance in Swindon
TV personality Nick Hewer is to make a rare public appearance in Swindon next month – returning to a community centre he opened 10 years ago.
Swindon boy Nick shot to fame as Lord Alan Sugar’s advisor on TV’s The Apprentice, where he was known for his sharp observations and deadpan humour during his nine-year tenure.
He went on to host long-running quiz show Countdown from 2012 to 2021.
Nick will speak at the Christ Church Community Centre in Old Town on Saturday, November 23 from 7.30pm, with a talk covering his rise in the world of public relations and working with Alan Sugar when he handled the tech firm’s PR, finding fame on TV, and personal anecdotes from his life, including his connections to Swindon.
Tickets, priced £10, are available from www.ccccswindon/page/tickets
