Evelyn Partners hosts women in business networking events
Professional services and wealth management group Evelyn Partners is launching a series of special events in Bristol to support and empower women in business.
The first meeting on July 3, at Evelyn Partners’ Bristol office in Portwall Place, will include a discussion with Sarah Taylor Phillips, founder of career, flex and talent strategy consultancy Career Voyage.
Sarah will be discussing how to build a brand and develop confidence in business, drawing on her extensive experience helping individuals find rewarding careers and thrive.
With a diverse background spanning marketing, HR and resourcing, Sarah co-founded a pioneering interim management firm that grew to become a £5.5m business which was instrumental in promoting flexible working, fostering diversity and inclusion, and revolutionising the marketing and HR function.
Helen Bassett, managing partner of Evelyn Partners’ Bristol office, said: “We are delighted to be joined by Sarah for the first in a series of exciting events aimed at bringing together female professionals and supporters of women in business.
“Our goal is to provide a supportive environment and a safe space for women to network and share experiences, with a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion.
“The event is in-person, which I think is really important. We want to create an inclusive network locally that will encourage confidence building; getting to do that face-to-face will create real bonds and connections for the future. I know myself how networks like this have made a real difference to my own career development.”
Helen added: “I would also like to thank Camilla Foden and Charlotte Davis from our advisory consulting team for their fabulous work in making this event happen.”
Camilla Foden said: “Evelyn Partners is committed to working towards greater female representation within our industry, particularly within senior management roles, so we’re proud to be hosting this series of fully inclusive networking events for women in business.
“We’d love to extend the invite to any female professionals or local supporters of women in business that haven’t already registered.”
