Cotswold Networking expands to Bradford on Avon with first meeting next month
Business networking group Cotswold Networking is expanding to the Bath area, with a new group launching at the Cumberwell Park Golf Club at Bradford on Avon on Thursday, February 22.
Cotswold Networking was launched by Angela Roberts two years ago in the wake of lockdowns, and emerged from her deep desire to reestablish in-person connections and support local small businesses in their recovery journey.
“I was eager to get back out there, meet people face-to-face, and feel the buzz of connecting with great people,” said Angela.
“I also wanted to help small businesses get back on their feet, so after much deliberation and research I decided to start my own networking group and Cotswold Networking was born.”
The venture was launched at the Bell Hotel in Malmesbury in February 2022, and a year later a second group at the King’s Head Hotel in Cirencester was added to the roster. A third launched in September last year at the Nook on Five Rooftop Restaurant in Cheltenham.
“We regularly host gatherings with 50 to 60 attendees, clearly indicating a strong demand for our networking events,” said Angela.
“I’ve had people approach me, expressing their interest in having a group near Bath. Following careful venue research, we selected the splendid Cumberwell Park Golf Club for its accessible location and ample parking facilities.”
