Business Buzz network expands to Chippenham
Networking group Business Buzz held its inaugural meeting today (Tuesday) at a lively event in Chippenham, where attendees made new connections… and took a trip down Memory Lane.
Over 40 networkers came through the doors of The Cellar by Wine Monkey in Chippenham’s Borough Parade for the first meeting of the network’s 48th group.
The group has been established by Paula Harsley of Paula Harsley – Wordsmith, who had attended Business Buzz events elsewhere in Wiltshire.
Local networkers were joined by Business Buzz co-founder Katrina Sargent, who started Business Buzz 12 years ago. The network now has meetings across the south of England and the Midlands.
Katrina told business owners “We want you to be doing business in your town. It’s so important for you to thrive.”
The informal group has no membership fees – attendees are simply asked to pay £10 + VAT for their visit – and no elevator pitches. But every networker was given the chance to introduce themselves to the group and, in recognition of the 50th anniversary of children’s TV favourite Bagpuss, asked to name their favourite kids’ TV show.
