Bristol business leaders offered chance to breakfast with balloons
Bristol’s Balloon Fiesta Business Breakfast – once a highlight of the city’s business calendar – is making a return this summer.
Taking place on Friday, August 8 – the opening day of the 2025 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in partnership with Albert Goodman – the event will be hosted in partnership with the Institute of Directors South West.
The event is also supported by membership organisations Business West, Bristol Junior Chamber of Commerce, and
Bristol & West of England China Bureau.
Set against the backdrop of the Fiesta’s first mass ascent, guests will enjoy breakfast refreshments before engaging with two thought-provoking panel discussions.
The theme this year will be Beyond the Horizon: Celebrating the South West and Embracing Global Opportunity, aiming to champion the region’s growing reputation as both a launchpad and gateway to international markets.
The first panel discussion will bring together voices from successful local enterprises to explore what makes the South West such an attractive base for ambitious entrepreneurs.
Panellists will share why they chose to grow their businesses in the region, the advantages they’ve found here, and how the area can continue to position itself as a destination for innovation and investment.
The second panel will turn the focus outward, looking at how South West businesses can be supported to export, trade internationally, and grow on the world stage.
Contributors will include representatives from the Department for Business and Trade, Tech West England Advocates, and the Institute of Directors’ International Trade Group, as well as businesses already making their mark globally.
Like the balloons, networkers will be expected to rise early – as the event starts at 5.30am and runs through until 9am. Tickets, priced £30, are available from https://www.bristolballoonfiesta.co.uk/get-involved/sponsorship-partnership
