King’s Award for Trade presented to Swindon manufacturer
Swindon-based car parts manufacturer BG Automotive has been presented with a coveted King’s Award for Trade.
The award ceremony took place at Groundwell Industrial Estate, with the King’s official representative in Wiltshire, Lord-Lieutenant Sarah Troughton, making the presentation.
The Lord Lieutenant, along with other distinguished guests, was given a guided tour of BGA’s offices, warehouse, and Research & Development centre, where they witnessed BGA’s quality-driven approach to manufacturing.
Live demonstrations showed how BGA’s products are rigorously tested against OEM standards, highlighting BGA’s commitment to producing aftermarket parts that consistently meet or surpass original quality.

The company – a leading name in the global automotive aftermarket – manufactures and sells aftermarket engine, steering and transmission parts.
The company has enjoyed year-on-year growth of between 20 and 30 per cent. and employs more than 150 people.
