Bristol-based roadside diner chain Brightside recognised at R200 Awards
Brightside, the roadside diner brand launched by Bristol-based hospitality firm Loungers been awarded the Best Scalable Concept award at the 2023 R200 Awards, which celebrate achievements in the UK restaurant industry.
The first Brightside opened near Exeter in February, since when Loungers has opened two more – at Honiton in Devon and Saltash in Cornwall.
Inspired by childhood road trips of days gone by, Brightside offers a freshly cooked menu of classic, comfort food-style dishes for hungry travellers.
Loungers plc also operates 204 Lounges and 36 Cosy Club venues across the UK.
The group recently announced the continued progress of its accelerated site roll-out, with recent Lounges also opening in Alfredo Lounge in Louth, Bordo Lounge in Carlisle and Muro Lounge in Hexham. Loungers also welcomed Cosy Club Oxford to the family in October.
Financial figures published in October showed revenues have jumped by a fifth to £149.6 million.
