Swindon accountancy firm gets the hat trick at FD Excellence Awards
Swindon accountancy firm Haines Watts has become the first firm to win the hat trick at the FD Excellence Awards awards.
The firm was named Accountancy Firm of the Year: SMEs having won the Auditor of the Year award for the past two years.
The awards celebrate the work of finance directors and supporting firms in financial management, including accountants, who contribute to the success of British business and sustainable growth.
The awards, now in their 10th year, were hosted by Real Business and held in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and supported by the CBI.
Regional general practice partner Mike Lloyd said: “What makes this award particularly special to us is that it was voted for by our very own clients, finance directors and key finance decision makers in our target SME market.
“It’s this type of award that matters because it’s voted for by real business people not an academic panel of experts.”
