HR consultancy expands to meet clients’ Covid demands

A Swindon-based HR consultancy has expanded to meet the needs of clients as they tackle the challenges of the pandemic.

Louise Skittrall, owner of Robinson Grace HR Consultancy, has been joined by health and safety expert Andrew Wilkinson and by Hayley White, a recruitment and induction specialist who has joined the firm to help clients adopt the Kickstart work placement scheme for young people.

“Like many small businesses, Robinson Grace HR Consultancy found their clients needing a different range of services during lockdown, prompting them to change the ways in which they operate in the wake of the pandemic,” said Louise.

“The HR Consultancy has added two new team members to keep up with demand from clients dealing with the changing guidance on furlough, flexi furlough and operating in tier 2, alongside those looking at restructuring and pivoting their services to remain open during the pandemic.”

Andrew has been helping clients requesting support in making business premises Covid-secure and ensuring that staff working from home for the first time meet home working health and safety requirements.

Hayley has been helping clients to manage Kickstart applications through the firm’s Gateway status.

“Pivoting my business in a slightly different direction by adding a Health & Safety division to our HR services has led to real growth whilst enabling us to offer essential services to our clients at a time when they most need our support,” said Louise.
