Legal firm appoints property litigation partner
Legal and professional services firm Knights has appointed property litigation partner Caroline Preist to join its team in Bristol.
An expert in handling complex property disputes, Caroline brings more than 25 years of experience and knowledge of the South West property market to Knights’ Bristol base at EQ Building, Victoria Street.
A specialist in her field, Caroline acts for clients on all aspects of property disputes, including litigation, negotiation, mediation and providing stand-alone advice for the full range of commercial and domestic property owners, investors, developers and tenants.
Caroline holds a particular interest and specialism in all aspects of freehold land, specifically restrictive covenants, easements and boundary disputes, and is also experienced in acting in contested commercial lease renewals, dilapidations and lease breaks.
Her arrival at Knights builds on a period of growth for Knights’ office in Bristol and follows the recent appointment of Regulatory Partner, Charles Metherell.
“I’m delighted to join Knights during what is undoubtedly an excited period of growth for the business,” said Caroline.
“Having practiced in the South West for my whole career, I’m looking forward to working with clients and colleagues from across the Knights network in what is a highly collaborative and supportive working environment.”
James Christacos, regional client services director at Knights added: “Caroline is vastly experienced property litigation specialist, has a great reputation locally and is a brilliant addition to the team here in Bristol, which is fantastic for our clients and colleagues as we strive to deliver the very best legal advice.
“Caroline joins us at an exciting time of growth not just regionally but nationally, with yet more talented professionals set to join the business in the weeks and months to come as we look to deliver on our ambitious plans for growth.”
