ICON Corporate Finance appoints new associate director
Tech-focused investment bank ICON Corporate Finance has appointed Arran Riordan as its new associate director.
Arran joins ICON’s Bristol office following over six years at PwC, where he gained his ACA qualification and worked across various departments, most recently in the financial services team.
Having supported numerous transactions, both in the UK and internationally, Arran has extensive expertise in cross-border M&A.
This includes buy-side and sell-side processes, expert determinations of value for transaction pricing, and portfolio reviews for private equity and venture capital clients.
Arran’s expertise in financial services and his extensive experience in delivering complex valuation services to a diverse range of clients make him a valuable addition to ICON’s growing team, which is based in Bristol, London, San Francisco, Nairobi and Bengaluru.
The M&A and fundraising firm, founded by CEO Alan Bristow in 1999, has closed over 300 deals since business conception.
Tech sector specialisms across the international team include fintech, cybersecurity, AI, healthtech, supply chain tech, enterprise software, and managed services.
ICON CEO and founder Alan Bristow said: “We are delighted to welcome Arran to the ICON team. His broad experience, particularly in valuations and cross-border transactions, makes him an excellent fit for the role.
“Arran’s appointment highlights our commitment to strengthening our team with top-tier talent to support our clients’ evolving needs and drive continued growth in the tech sector.”
Arran added: “I’m excited to join ICON at such an important time in the company’s development. The team’s impressive track record and the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued success in the tech sector are what drew me to the role. I look forward to helping drive ICON’s growth further.”
