Hairdresser proves he’s a cut above the rest
A Wiltshire hairdresser has proved he’s a cut above the rest, after winning a place in the finals of a prestigious national competition.
Joshua Goldsworthy, of Goldsworthy Hairdressing Group in Swindon and Marlborough, has secured a place in the final of Creative Head magazine’s 2013 It List.
The 23 year old has been shortlisted for both the It Guy and The Fashionista titles.
Creative Head’s It List honours the most dynamic go-getters and trendsetters all aged 30 or under who are making their mark on the UK hairdressing industry, while The Fashionista recognises young stylists with a real fashion edge trailblazing their way to an exciting career in session hairdressing.
Catherine Handcock, publisher of Creative Head, says: “New talent is in the lifeblood of any industry, and particularly in a creatively driven industry like hairdressing.
“There were some really great entries to this year’s It List, and so the names who have made it through to the finals are truly worth keeping an eye on.”
The finals will be held at the Natural History Museum in London on September 2.
