New faces at accountancy firm
Two new faces have joined the team at chartered accountants and business advisors Haines Watts Swindon.
Suzanne Black and Ionut Serpie have brought their skills to a firm which has served businesses in the town and the surrounding area for the last 50 years.
Suzanne (29) joins as an audit and accounts senior. Swindon born and bred, she qualified as a certified chartered accountant four years ago and has moved from another practice to join Haines Watts’ office team in Old Town.
“Everyone at Haines Watts has been so helpful, ensuring I’m settling in well,” she said. “It’s a very friendly but professional place and I feel confident I’ll be supported as my career develops.”
Outside of the office Suzanne supports the charity Diabetes UK as she’s been a type 1 diabetic since her teenage years. Her husband Dan is a chef.
Ionut (28) joins as a trainee and is originally from Romania having moved to the UK to study at university with his wife Mariana. They both recently graduated in Business Accountancy and Economics at Worcester.
“The team here are great people, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and supportive which I appreciate,” said Ionut.
In his spare time he enjoys running and recently took part in the Cricklade half marathon. His next challenge is to run the London marathon.
