Expo returns to Swindon this autumn
One of the largest business networking expos in the region returns to Swindon next month, bringing hundreds of regional business people together for an intensive day of networking, business inspiration and support, and an exhibition.
The Get Connected Swindon & Wiltshire Expo will attract all sizes of business – from corporations and large enterprises operating locally, medium-sized, small, micro businesses and start-ups – to the STEAM museum on Wednesday, October 16. Attendance is free.
The event includes a host of seminars. Keynote speaker Emma Kersey, head of The Growth Academy at sales training consultancy Elation, will tell delegates how to Supercharge your Business – Build a World Class Operation.
John Chisholm, of training company Crescente, will talk delegates through the strategic leadership tools and techniques to help businesses thrive in uncertain times, while Neuro-Linguistic Programming master coach Vicky Henderson, will be talking about improving individual and team performance by understanding Emotional Intelligence.
Henry Campbell-Jones of Hornblower Business Brokers will be discussing which businesses sell well and why and how to value your business. Wiltshire Training’s Amy Fletcher will be telling delegates how to support wellbeing in the workplace. And business trainer Steve Catchick will show delegates How To Develop Your Sales-Force.
There will also be seminars on Social Media Strategy and Writing for Social Media delivered by the Google Digital Garage.
