New website will be uncovered for business networkers
A new Wiltshire website which aims to showcase the county’s hidden gems is the subject of a talk at an upcoming meeting of Swindon networking group Business Village.
Digital marketer Sam Bertram is the mastermind behind the website Local Uncovered, due to be launched at the end of April, which brings together details of a whole host of producers, retailers, experiences and charities, all based in Wiltshire.
Site visitors will be able to leave reviews, and each business featured on the website will also give tips and hints about their own favourite Wiltshire destination or product.
Sam will be giving her talk at the regular Business Village breakfast on April 10. The group meets every Thursday from 7.30-9am at the Holiday Inn Express, by junction 16 of the M4. All are welcome, and it costs £10 per person. To book, visit www.businessvillage.org.
Sam is also looking for more independents to sign up to the site. Categories for businesses to feature in are food and drink, original products, artists, experiences, accommodation, events, local shops, and charities.
“There have been other attempts to do this but they have tended to be dry, impersonal listings,” said Sam.
“The goal is to provide a service for locals and visitors to the area who are missing out on all these great products and services right on their doorstep.”
