Ford vehicles claimed the top three spots for sales last month.

Ford vehicles were the UK’s 1-2-3 biggest sellersin February, as the largest Transit, medium Transit Custom and Fiesta took the respective honours.

A total of 2,699 Transit and 1,979 Transit Custom vehicles were sold in February, while Fiesta topped passenger vehicle sales at 1,645.

The Ford Fiesta and the Ford Transit Custom were Britain’s best-selling new vehicles in 2020. The manufacturer sold 49,000 Fiestas and 47,500 Transits.

Mandy Dean, commercial vehicle director for Ford of Britain & Ireland, said: “In 2020, The Transit Custom range was just behind the Ford Fiesta as the UK’s best-selling vehicle.

“In February 2021, Transit and Transit Custom have gone one step further with the two-tonne Transit being the overall top-selling vehicle with Transit Custom second and Fiesta third.”
