Aston Martin unveils the DBX 707 – the world’s most powerful luxury SUV
Aston Martin has unveiled the DBX 707 – the most powerful luxury SUV in the world.
The DBX 707 knocks Porsche’s Cayenne S E Performance off its perch, although the latter retains the crown for the most powerful SUV in production – Aston Martin will start producing its DBX 707 at the end of Q1, with deliveries starting in Q2.
The 707 refers to its metric horsepower, delivered by an AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine. The SUV will be capable of 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds. Its top speed will be 193 mph.
“With the DBX707 we have pushed the boundaries in every area to create a car which sets new standards of performance and desirability. The fastest, most powerful, best handling and most engaging car of its kind, it propels Aston Martin to the pinnacle of SUV performance,” said Aston Martin CEO Tobias Moers.
There’s no word on price yet, but the standard DBX starts at £163,500 – so north of there. Far, far north.
