Swindon gravy firm launches craft beer-inspired packaging
A gravy manufacturer has launched its new range of stocks, sauces and marinades in eye-catching cans inspired by the craft beer industry.
Swindon-based Potts has been cooking up a storm with its range of mall batch gravies and stocks, which it moved out of pouches and into aluminium cans.
Now the family-owned firm has taken its World Cuisine inspired cooking sauces down the same ethical packaging pathway – this time with vibrant, head-turning, kitchen couture imagery.
And the attention-grabbing packaging has won the firm a prestigious Ocado listing.
“Inspired by the UK’s flourishing IPA beer category that had seen boring brown bottles replaced by striking can art, we were determined to bring some vibrant coloured swagger to a struggling cooking sauces category that had become too samey and set in its ways,” said co-founder Michelle Potts.
The Swindon-based success story can be found in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose, and Asda.
