A management buyout at Swindon-based IT, digital and technology consultant Leading Resolutions has been supported by experts from Thames Valley & Swindon law firm Gardner Leader.
Leading Resolutions is an independent consultancy helping clients deliver large-scale technology change programmes.
It has full coverage across the technology landscape with deep expertise advising clients on large and complex IT transformation and business change programmes.
The company is a trusted advisor to the boards of large and mid-sized corporates with an extensive list of blue-chip clients including Currys, The AA, Experian and Easyjet.
The company is led by CEO, Peter Smyth and COO, Sheila Bryant supported by an experienced team who are responsible for delivering 70 per cent revenue CAGR over the last two years.
For the last three years Leading Resolutions has been named in the Financial Times UK’s Leading Management Consultants report across five categories, following a significant number of recommendations from industry peers and clients.
The Gardner Leader team was headed up by corporate partner, Joe Lewis. Joe specialises in advising businesses, from start-up to flotation, on all aspects of public and private M&A, shareholders’ agreements, reorganisations and corporate governance. Joe was supported by Gail Vallis, Karron Whitter, Rabika Basran, Diane Yarrow and Jonathan Bradley.
Shareholder Jeff Motto commented: “We have worked with Joe and the team for a number of years, going back to before the merger between Gardner Leader and Clark Holt.
“As expected, there are always lots of nuts and bolts that must be put in place when undertaking this type of transition, the Gardner Leader team were always on hand to provide the best guidance and advice throughout.”
Co-founder Israr Chaudry added: “Joe and the team have always made it easy for us to do business with them and working with them has been a pleasure.”
Partner Joe Lewis said: “Leading Resolutions is one of the UK’s leading technology consultants. It’s been great to work with Jeff, Israr and the rest of the team over the years and now it is particularly rewarding to see them move ahead into an exciting new chapter for all concerned.”
The buyout was backed by NVM Private Equity.
