Students with design on marketing career get valuable experience
Students from Malmesbury School have been learning about the world of work this week, with a placement with branding experts The Front Room Marketing and Design.
Over the week the five students learnt about mobile friendly websites, logos, marketing materials and branding, and were even given the opportunity to create their own logo under the tutelage of graphic designer Mark Penicud.
Student Erica Boldy said: “This week has been an amazing opportunity and I have learnt some of the skills needed for marketing and graphic design.”
And pupil Jack Brown said: “I have improved my verbal communication skills with the help of the team which has improved my confidence levels. This will help me when I decide which career path to follow.”
