Swindon employers join forces to get young people into jobs

Thirty-two major employers including Nationwide, BMW, Network Rail, Waitrose and Zurich have joined forces to help young people in Swindon find a job.

Swindon JobFest2015 is also supported by the some of Wiltshire’s biggest names, including Excalibur, Monahans, GWP Group, Banks BHG, Beard Construction, and SEQOL.

The event will be held at STEAM on Thursday, April 30 from 2pm until 7pm and will provide young people with the chance to meet and engage with prospective employers, and to learn about apprenticeships, internships and traineeships, as well as full-time jobs.

The event will also include seminars aimed at young people who want to start their own business, put together a CV, or pick up tips for interviews.
