Former recruiter launches business to help firms hold on to staff

A former recruiter has launched a business that helps companies retain their existing staff.

Swindon-based Correct Careers Coaching offers training at all levels aimed at developing existing staff to become top performers within their place of work.

Founder Jamie Martin also offers sales training, coaching at all levels, and employment solutions for business stability, including on-boarding, recruitment cycle, redeployment, and outplacement.

“It can cost a business between £25,000 and £50,000 to replace an employee,” said Jamie. “Unlocking the full potential of existing employees gives them a sense of investment, and turns them into better performers.”

The psychology graduate began his sales career at the Swindon Advertiser before joining recruitment firm Reed, where an award-winning six-year career saw him promoted six times and develop a new branch and team from scratch.

As well as businesses of all sizes across the South West, Jamie is keen to work with charities. Later this month he will be running the New Swindon Half Marathon in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
