FSB partners with The Enterprise Network to provide business support video series
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has partnered with The Enterprise Network to produce a series of short videos under the Take TEN banner, providing business support on topics designed to assist small businesses during the current cost of living crisis.
The videos are hosted by Rachael Johnson from The Enterprise Network (TEN), which was set up by Wiltshire Council in 2012 as a consequence of the 2008 recession to provide flexible, subsidised, start up and incubation space for small business and entrepreneurs in their formative years.
TEN also works with a range of partners to deliver and facilitate funded and paid for programmes to support emerging and established businesses.
The webinars, which are perfect for both business owners and entrepreneurs showcase the range of support available across several themes that may be affecting their business during these challenging times.
The series introduces several organisations and local businesses owners to talk through some of the practical steps that can be taken to ensure the health of businesses, with additional sources of support and the wealth of resource available at FSB to both members and non-members alike.
Most speakers are small business owners themselves, so understand the pressures they face.
The first in this series is Marketing in tough times by Padua Communications, which can now be viewed on demand.
Upcoming videos include:
- Serco Skills Support for the workforce – Upskilling your workforce
- SWIG Finance – Finance options for small business
- Professional in Partnership HR Consultancy – The people perspective
- Zest Consultancy – How to get more leads for your business
- Confident Cashflow – Getting paid in a contracting economy
- Wiltshire Council Public Health – Workplace health and wellbeing
Cllr Richard Clewer, leader of Wiltshire Council and cabinet member for economic development, said: “We know how challenging the current financial climate is for all businesses in Wiltshire, and that’s why we’re doing all we can to support them through these troubled times.
“I’d encourage all small businesses and entrepreneurs to view the webinars for important tips and tricks that will help them navigate the choppy waters ahead.
“As set out in our business plan, we are committed to supporting Wiltshire businesses, and we have done this over the past few difficult years, most recently through the administration of £183 million in Covid grants, plus Future High Street Funds and Welcome Back Funding.
“We’ll continue to do all we can to support Wiltshire’s businesses through these difficult times.”
